This is a full time, permanent position.

Our client, a retail company based in Marlow is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their small finance team and provide the day-to-day administration for the retail finance. The individual should have experience within the retail industry alongside having the ability to present information in a clear manner, demonstrate procedures and respond to queries.

Key Duties:
• Ensure all store vouchers received are scanned and tagged in timely manner
• Provide support in processing finance agreements
• Provide support in Domestic & General reporting
• To correctly allocate the Pay Pal transactions
• To correctly allocate the Amex transactions
• To correctly allocate the Credit Card transactions
• Download and collate all reports needed for the bank reconciliation
• Produce the Daily Bank Reconciliation
• Processing store paperwork daily on receipt of the Loomis grey bags
• Answer store queries on transactions and till differences
• Compile weekly till difference spreadsheet for stores and rectify any mistakes made by stores
• Post all new payments and receipts to the general ledger
• As an integral part of a small finance team it is essential that the job holder is able to personally cover other roles
• Ensure departmental goals are achieved through a flexible team approach to people and workloads
• Ensure all filing is maintained accurately

Special requirements include:

• Must have retail industry experience
• Attention to detail and organisation
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in timely manner
• Proactive approach in resolving problems and issues
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to read, analyse and interpret general information
• Ability to interact with all levels of personnel
• Ability to effectively present information in a clear manner, demonstrate procedures and respond to questions
• High level of self-motivation and flexibility
• Computer and internet skills
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
