A new opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager within the telecoms/connectivity industry to work for a leading UK and global provider of Next Generation Carrier Ethernet Services, VPLS and PWAN solutions, encompassing world class, virtualised UTM Security Services, voice and IP cloud services.

I am looking for a candidate young and enthusiastic about sales ideally with at least 1 year of new business generation experience B2B, and proactive in his/her approach. You will be required to manage an existing base of clients, looking for opportunities to cross sell and up sell bringing in new revenue as well as ensuring contract renewals take place. I am looking for the candidate to conduct the full end to end sales cycle and account manage clients during their time with the company.

The role: Account Manager

Requirements: Account Manager


* Good understanding of IT related business solutions
* Passion for IT/Technology
* Business to business sales experience/previous experience in Internal Sales/proactive account management
* Good interpersonal skills
* The drive to succeed and reach targets (to exceed would be an added bonus)
* Self-motivated and conscientious
* Ability to communicate at ALL levels
* Understand and implement sales propositions


* Evidence of professional account development planning
* High energy self starter
* Certificate in recognised sales training
* Degree of higher diploma education
