Sheridan Maine is recruiting for a Finance Manager for a manufacturing organisation based in Telford.

The Role

Financial Manager will be responsible for local financial reporting compliant with the businesses policies and statutory regulations.                        

Further Duties and Responsibilities 

- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Design and implement accounting process improvements.
- Contribute to Finance projects

- Daily reconciliation of bank balances to ensure payments and receipts are efficiently posted to SAP.

- Act as a key contact for internal and external auditors.
- Utilise Excel functionality to generate accurate accounting entries and provide Management Information
- Responsible for advising on financial reporting issues, IFRS and UK GAAP

- Control the integrity of all balance sheets

What are we looking for? 

- Finalist ACCA/CIMA
- Up to date knowledge of UK financial reporting standards.
- Experience of SAP (Essential)
- Experience of Hyperion (Essential) 
- Knowledge of US and UK GAAP

What is on offer?

A salary of up to £50,000-£60,000including pension and company benefits
