A coaching inn located in the Grasmere region of Cumbria is recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef role
A coaching inn that offers all day dining is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join the team of six chefs in the kitchen preparing meals for the restaurant and bar areas (same menu served throughout). The property focuses on serving simple, fresh meals that feature plenty of seasonal produce as well as specials. As this is a Junior Sous Chef role you will move around all the sections and will also have additional responsibilities in the kitchen including running service when required; becoming involved with the ordering and having an input on the menu design.
This role would be ideal for a Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef who has a stable background working in high quality, fresh food focused kitchens. It is important that all applicants have excellent all round cooking skills but also have the ability to supervise others in the kitchen and have basic admin skills already.
