My client is a leading, reputable broker within the market who is seeing a New Business Developer to join their team based just outside of Southampton.

You will be out on the field and based in the office.

They are currently looking for a New Business Development Executive that can develop business and then manage the renewals in the future.

In this role you’ll be prospecting, tendering and securing Commercial insurance products. From generating commercial leads, to fact finding and visiting prospective customers and cross selling, you’ll drive sales and see the results.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Plan, prospect, select and sell Commercial insurance products.
- Develop and manage your own pipeline of business that is sufficient to achieve targets
- Build effective relationships with agencies that will be responsible for servicing the business you win.

You'll be given all the tools required for this role and you'll need to be able to think on your feet.

Previous Commercial insurance experience is essential for this role, as well as a driven personality and excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be sales and target driven.

There is a car allowance offered with the role as well as competitive commission structure on top of your basic salary.

Very competitive salary; negotiable depending on candidate's experience and what they can bring with them (£30k - £50k (or above) + rewarding benefits.
