A relative new comer to the market, our client is going from strength to strength. The founder has been one of the top salespeople in the investment property market for the past 5 years. His success with clients gave him the confidence to set up his own brand and his new concept is already so successful that the company is fighting hard to handle all the leads they’re generating. With some of the best product on the market and a marketing machine that’s bringing the leads in, they now need a confident yet humble investment consultant to speak to clients.
You will be calling people that have made an enquiry about a particular property investment and it’s your job to understand what investment criteria they have. Once you have the full picture of their needs and have built trust in your credibility, you’ll be able to recommend the right investments for them and make those deals happen. Most deals with take placeover a series of calls rather than just one as property investment decisions can take a little time. You’ll stay in touch with clients, supporting them and giving them all the relevant information to make their decision.
Your personality, outlook and habits are the most important factors in the matching process. You will also need proven success in a sales role though it does not have to be within the investment property sector (though this would be a welcome bonus!). Positive, professional and proactive, you will be trained in the company’s ethos and their investments and then continually supported throughout your time with the company. If you want to work for a credible name in this market, with great properties, lots of leads and the chance to work with autonomy, this could be your next role.
You will earn very well in this role. As with all such sales jobs, the real money is in the commission of course. On offer is a salary between £25,000depending on experience and, with commission, you can reasonably expect to earn £70,000. Successful consultants in this market frequently make a lot more and £100,000+ a year is not unusual.
