Spanish Teacher Head of Subject – North Somerset

This rapidly improving School in North Somerset is looking for a well-qualified Teacher of Spanish to lead and develop Spanish across the MFL faculty. The role requires an enthusiastic teacher who is capable of motivating staff and inspiring students to be successful learners. Ideally, they should have the ability to teach French or one other language.

Located in North Somerset and commutable from both Bristol and Taunton, this is a rapidly improving and visionary school with aims to be rated OFSTED ‘outstanding’ in its next visit. This is an exciting time as Spanish will be introduced into Lower School from September so the candidate will have a unique opportunity to shape the development of Spanish.

If successful, you would be joining a team made up of Head of MFL and Head of French in leading the development of the department. The school and department have an ethos of raising achievement through high quality teaching and learning, for both pupils and teachers.

This post requires an experienced Spanish Teacher or existing Head of Spanish looking to share their experience in a fantastic school. In this role you would show your passion for languages and the ability to share that enthusiasm with your pupils both in the classroom and during extracurricular trips and activities.
