Science teacher - Salford
Our client RC Secondary school located in the Eccles region of Salford require a teacher of Science from September. Due to a maternity within the department, this position is initially being offered on a full time temporary basis for two terms, however due to plans of restructuring in 2018, there is the opportunity to secure a fixed term contract from Easter 2018.

Science teacher (Open to experienced/newly qualified teachers)
Teaching Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four across the ability range
Delivering a range of inclusive and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Pay in line with teaching scale point (£22,467 - £38,250 per annum)

"Our high achieving Science department wish to appoint a Science teacher to cover a Maternity within the department. This position will incorporate the teaching of Chemistry, Biology and Physics to students in KS3 and KS4, and with restructural plans in 2018, there is the potential for a fixed term post for the appointed teacher of Science." - Head of Science

The Progress 8 Score at school is +0.21, above the national average. The incoming Science teacher will be expected to raise attainment across the board, and follow the ethos and values of the school.
