Touchstone are a growing organisation with an expanding portfolio of properties. As a result we are looking for a Portfolio Manager to oversee the management of in excess of 1500 properties incorporating a large national portfolio and a ‘Build to Rent’ development in Liverpool.

What your role will be

As one of our Portfolio Managers you will have overall responsibility for the management of a portfolio of properties.  Working in partnership with our clients you will create the strategy the rest of the team will implement, keeping an open dialogue with the client to ensure these needs are met.
You will review the performance of the portfolio, setting objectives and targets with the team to achieve maximum performance. The focus of these targets relate to maximising occupancy and rental collection, minimising void periods and controlling expenditure as well as keeping a close eye on compliance relating to health and safety and legislation. 

Your background

This role will see you supporting a portfolio in excess of 1500 units. You will support a mixed portfolio primarily made up of private rental properties, ideally you will have experience within a property management role working within the private rental sector. Experience supporting a portfolio of a similar size would be beneficial.
It would be preferred that the successful candidates holds a lettings or residential management qualification, such as an NFOPP, IRPM or MARLA.  You will also have a good general understanding of tenancy legislation.
This is a client facing role, client management experience and the ability to build strong working relationships is essential. The successful candidate will have the ability to remain calm in potentially difficult or sensitive situations both, in person or on the phone.
As part of this role you will support a national portfolio therefore on occasions there will be a requirement to travel
