Teacher of Mathematics required - 'Good’ RC Secondary school
A vibrant and innovative RC Secondary school in Salford have expressed a permanent need within their department for a Teacher of Mathematics, from September 2017. This position will initially be offered on a temporary full time basis, with the opportunity to obtain a fixed term contract from December 2017.
The appointed teacher of Mathematics will work with KS3 and GCSE pupils, and create lessons that are inclusive of each ability. Previous evidence of outstanding teaching is desired for this post.

- Pay in line with teaching scale point (£22,467 - £38,467 per annum)
The successful applicant will be responsible for devising progress reports for each class and monitoring this through formative and summative assessments throughout the year. Weekly meetings will be held with the Head of Faculty to support with collaborative planning. The ethos of the school relates to ensuring each pupil achieves excellence and develops academically, spiritually and socially.
The school has consistently been graded 'Good’ with 'Outstanding’ features in Ofsted inspections, and has a Progress 8 score of +0.22 which is significantly higher than the average. Located near to central Salford, the school can be accessed from neighbouring areas Wigan, Trafford and Bolton, with the M602 motorway passing the school. Public transportation links from Manchester City Centre also provide a direct route to school.
