About Our Client:

My client, a global leader in the sporting events world, are recruiting for a proven sales candidate to join their Regional Business Development team. To be successful in this role you will have experience and background in sales and preferably experience of working within the sporting events sector, and be able to put bespoke packages together for your clients.

Job Description:

  • Working to KPIs, you will be tasked with generating new business opportunities for a leading venue in Liverpool
  • Responsible for all sales activity for all hospitality, restaurant and sponsorship packages
  • Identifying, developing and maintaining relationships with new and key existing customers to ensure they receive the best care and attention before, during and in the aftermath of their experience
  • Identifying and targeting new commercial customers/sectors to secure new business opportunities and meet sales targets; proactively coordinating and attending client off-site/on-site meetings
  • To account manage relationships with key Hospitality accounts and agents
  • Converting sales enquiries into business opportunities, increasing the hospitality business
  • Providing support to the Senior Manager and Marketing team in creation of innovative packages and promotional activities, to meet existing client expectations and to attract new clientele; planning and participating in promotional campaigns

The Successful Applicant:

  • Preferably have previous sales experience within the sporting events industry
  • Able to demonstrate proven success in sales negotiation
  • Possess experience in new business development and account management
  • Be self-motivated and driven
  • Be able to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

What's on offer:

A generous basic salary of up to £27,000 dependant on experience and competitive package including uncapped commission and an annual bonus
