TB379 Senior PM, highways / property

The Company:

A leading provider of consultancy services to the construction and civil engineering markets, our client enjoys an excellent reputation for its high quality work. They are based in the City of London, focussing primarily on projects in the Greater London and South East areas. They provide a range of services including cost and project management, project controls and claims.

The Opportunity:

This new role has just been created to lead Project Delivery for a key developer client. Based onsite in the north of London on a multi-£100m regeneration programme, you will take responsibility for the highways and roads components to the scheme. You will manage the project from end-to-end, ensuring that it is brought in on time and to cost, and meeting key HSQE and stakeholder engagement criteria. It will be an interesting and challenging position offering long-term stable work.

In addition to your role on this project, there is also the opportunity to become more involved with the management of the consultancy itself. This would mean becoming Practice Manager for the team, with responsibility for client and service development and people management.

In order to be considered, you will need:

- HNC or above in a construction or PM-related discipline
- Strong background in UK client-side project management, in the construction and / or highways sector
- The ability to communicate with and engage stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
- A solutions-focussed approach to work and life in general

MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM, PRINCE2 or similar qualifications would be an advantage.
