Salary: Up to £25,000 Pension Scheme and share of Tips.

The Company

Our client is a well-established Hotel, located in the centre of Aviemore and one of the busiest independent hotels in the area. We currently have an opportunity for a Sous Chef to join their team in a busy kitchen but will be supported by people passionate about customer service and about the quality of the products on offer.

The Role

Preparation of hot and cold dishes to high standards

Showcasing the products to the best of his/her ability and delivering a unique experience to the customers.

Assisting the management team in providing positive leadership to the kitchen team.

Ensuring all hygiene and food standards are met.

Participating in the production and monitoring of the quality and quantities of food prepared to the specified standards and in a timely fashion to meet peak levels of demands.


To possess a good knowledge of food and wine, understanding the differences and uses of all herbs and types of seasonings

To be able to demonstrate a certain level of creativity in food preparation and presentation.

To have received formal training in culinary arts
