Are you a ‘hands-on’ person who is comfortable working both with the Catering Team and with Heads of Department? Do you relish the opportunity to motivate, mentor and develop the Catering Team?
Are you a motivator? Do you set high standards and have the ability to bring fresh ideas to an established team with plenty of energy and enthusiasm?
You will be motivated and innovative, committed to supporting an enthusiastic team but also able to work individually .
You will already have a proven track record in catering.
You will be required to support the Catering Manager (Head Chef) with providing consistent high quality food.
This is a full time (37.5hrs) role with flexibility being essential as no two days are the same. Working hours are normally worked in accordance with the following alternating shift patterns:
Week 1: Work Tuesday to Saturday 7.30am - 3.30pm
Week 2: Work Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
The core times within the department are between 7am and 7pm.
It is essential that you have ‘hands on’ catering experience, have experience of ordering stock, and creating menus as well as enjoying a challenge.
