Permanent Maths Teacher required in Leeds

The Education Network is working on behalf of a partnership school in Leeds to appoint a Maths teacher for a permanent position from May 2017. The school is open to applications from both NQT's & FQT's that have experience teaching in Maths. The partner school will initially like to invite selected applicants to their School in Leeds to have an interview with their head of Maths followed by an observed lesson to assess their suitability for the role. After application you will be informed of receipt of CV and will be notified within 5 days whether or not you have been put forward for shortlisting. If you have not got a relevant teaching qualification, please do not submit an application, this is strictly for qualified teachers (NQT/FQT).
Please note if you are a NQT, you will be put through induction by the school.
The starting date for the successful Maths teacher at this secondary school in Leeds will be the week commencing May 2017.
The secondary school is situated in the heart of Leeds. There is a wealth of shops and local amenities a stone's throw away from the school itself & both the staff and pupils are very welcoming and make this school a pleasure to work in.
An ideal candidate will have:
- A UK recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working in a Secondary School as a NQT or FQT.
- A friendly, creative approach to teaching.
- Good behaviour management skills.
- Live with easy commuting distance to Leeds
- A good understanding of the Maths Curriculum.

This is a great opportunity to gain invaluable experience in a relaxed, friendly environment.
Working with The Education Network you will have access to a range of benefits including:
- A dedicated consultant with a wealth of experience within the secondary education sector.
- Best pay for NQT's and experienced teachers.
- FREE access to courses contributing to your Continued Professional Development (CPD).
- Access to Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), maternity pay and paternity pay.
