Our client is a major stationery e-retailer, operating within the consumer and trade market sectors. A £multi-million player, they are going through a significant growth strategy and are currently seeking to recruit a range of commercial executives. As a result, an Online Merchandiser is now required to own and deliver the online merchandising experience.
The Online Merchandiser will be at the sharp end of this business and will need to have the skills and experience to take this on. With total accountability for the merchandising strategy, the position encompasses responsibility for product presentation, search optimisation and customer journey to deliver the most relevant website experience for the customer base, in order to drive increase in sales and conversion rates. You will also own and manage the merchandising features such as search, brand pages, category pages, landing pages etc. and deliver the merchandising and promotional calendar, as well as influence the ranging with the category team.
To apply, it is likely you will currently operating within a similar e-retail environment, be commercial and data-driven, with the ability to present clear evidence based decisions. You will also be capable of building strong relationships both internally and externally and have a good understanding of the wider implications on customers when developing online strategy. Self-motivated and results orientated, you will possess a very good comprehension of th merchandising and online customer experience.
