Insight Modelling Analyst
This role will support all areas of the Principality Building Society to deliver its strategic, tactical and financial objectives by providing data selections, setting up response tracking and providing analysis and insight into customer behaviour across the business. You will be responsible for extraction, manipulation and analysis of data using SAS, particularly focusing on customer profiling, segmentations and propensity modelling, to create actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders to help drive business strategy. We will look for you to challenge existing practice, identify gaps and opportunities and preparing and presenting Executive level presentations.
What you will do:
Develop predictive models using advanced statistical methodologies, such as logistic and linear regression, CHAID and clustering techniques, to solve business issues
Testing possible approaches and techniques and monitoring the effectiveness of the tool over time.
Data selection for surveys, monitoring survey response rates, data analysis and reporting
Annual review of the savings liquidity model ensuring it continues to be accurate, documenting results and presenting findings to senior management
Produce accurate and timely customer MI
Develop customer value measures in support of customer and Marketing strategy and plans.
Responsible for the production of Conduct and Board reporting on behalf of the Marketing Department.
Produce informative and accurate papers for executive forums.
What we are looking for:
To be considered for this role we will need you to have significant experience in an analytical role. You will ideally be Degree qualified in an analytical / numerical discipline or be able to demonstrate substantial numeric and statistical ability. Experience of using SAS or equivalent statistical package along with previous experience of segmentation and propensity modelling techniques is required. As well as the technical skills, you will be at an advanced level with Microsoft Excel, including a basic understanding of VBA programming language to automate elements of MI.
