Manpower Technical is recruiting for a Sale/Accounts Executive on behalf of our client located in Peterborough. The role is Permanent, and based within the Public Sector.

Key Accountabilities of this role include:

Managing a designated portfolio of buyer accounts in accordance with current service level agreements to ensure maximum compliance with internal and external sales and customer service based targets.

Main Responsibilities

Establish and maintain an ongoing professional relationship with designated customers, in compliance with the Company's business ethics and practices, so that the customers are encouraged to increase the number of vehicles purchased and therefore the number of vehicles sold for UK is maximized.

Where applicable, canvass designated customers to gain vehicle entries to the sales channels of the Stock Market.

Process all enquiries so that service level agreements are correctly adhered to.
Maintain accurate call records to enable statistical analysis of the service
Liaise with colleagues and the external team to ensure effective communication.

Regularly liaise with designated customers to ensure that all pre and post-sale-reporting requirements are adhered to.

Produce and amend as necessary any required documentation, entry forms or catalogue listings in accordance with the Company's procedures and the customer's service level agreements.

Action any issues, queries or complaints arising so that any problems are resolved, in a timely fashion, to all parties' satisfaction as far as is reasonably practicable. Escalate any complex issues to the relevant manager.

Advise designated customers on industry market conditions and achievable selling prices of vehicles entered for sale so that customers' expectations are realistic, bids from purchasers are accepted and the Company's services are fully utilised.

The role of Sales/ Account Executive requires a high degree of relationship building with customers - hence the jobholder must be able to gain the trust and confidence of the customer by detailed account management, industry knowledge and strong interpersonal skills. This challenging position will be based in Peterborough and may require some travel in the UK with occasional overnight stay's.

An engaging personality with credible rapport building capability sales executives must be professional, have a sharp personal appearance and be excellent communicators. The role involves determining a customer's needs and being able to offer informed advice, guidance and vehicle knowledge.
The Sales Executives should be knowledgeable about the cars available and understand the market value of the vehicles
Experience in sales, gained through training or previous work experience, is advantageous though not essential. The successful candidate will be offered on-the-job training in the form of shadowing more experienced sales executives.
Full clean driving licence is preferred.
The successful candidate should be literate and numerate.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are preferred.

Shifts: Full Time. Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
Salary: £18,000 + £7,000 OTE, Per Annum, Plus benefits
