Cherry Professional are excited to be recruiting a Finance Assistant for a growing business in Alfreton who offer a stable working environment and onsite parking. With a competitive salary, the Finance Assistant will play an integral role in the finance team, reporting to the Senior Finance Officer.
Copy invoices and statements in an accurate and timely manner
To maintain the ledger and liaising with both external and internal customers to ensure accurate data and resolve queries Collate information for invoicing
Assist and maintain the purchase ledger
Sending out monthly statements
To ensure that all purchase invoices are logged
Coding and imputing of invoices
Dealing with any credit card payments
Assist with any other ad hoc duties required such as filing and scanning.
Experience with working within a finance department (purchase ledger / accounts payable experience would be ideal)
Self-starter able to work using own initiative in order to achieve results
Excellent organisational skills and have the ability to meet deadlines
You should have excellent communication skills across all levels and be able to build effective relationships across the business
Great telephone manner and a flexible and adaptable approach to working.
