Business Development Manager/ Field Sales c£50k, OTE £70k uncapped
Ranked on Fortune's World's "Most Admired Software Companies" lists, this exciting business is looking for a talented Business Development Manager to sell market leading SaaS (Software as a Service) product online. You will define and execute sales strategies and integrated campaigns to win small business customers .
It's about building trust with customers. Understanding their problems and gathering genuine insights. This highly consultative approach will give you significant influence with the product teams. More than that, it will give you the chance to make a real impact on millions of lives.
Key measures of success are customer sign ups, new customer growth and efficient resource allocation. You'll be a key driver executing the sales strategy in your region.
•Growing, developing and managing relationships with clients and prospects within a dedicated region, and growing your customer base
•Delivering events to recruit educate and grow the Cloud Software Programme
•Demonstrate the software products to large audiences through demos and webinars
•Develop strong relationships at all levels, identifying key decision makers and influencers
•Develop joint partner marketing campaigns and maximize our return through leveraging online and emerging technologies
•Utilise Salesforce to manage your pipeline, and to allow effective reporting
•Take full accountability for defined targeted customers, using metrics to monitor performance and understand results and drivers of performance, while developing contingency plans to address shortfalls on a weekly basis
•Innovate in the business model as appropriate, incorporating best practices
•Collaborate closely with other team members and a set of cross-functional business unit colleagues to drive result
•Gravitas/Presence- someone who demonstrates credibility and confidence
•Structured- manages their pipeline and time effectively
•Customer Empathy- someone who is curious about the customer, and genuinely wants to ease their pain points
