The Company

A premium automotive retailer based in the North West of England have a very exciting new opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join the business. The postholder will be based in Bolton with occasional travel over to other offices in the region.

This is an excellent opportunity for either an existing Marketing Manager or a Senior Marketing Executive who is looking for a step up with training and development provided.

Competitive salary on offer for this position, however this is negotiable depending on experience and level. Company car will also be provided to the successful candidate, alongside other benefits including pension scheme and life cover.

This is a full time permanent position with working hours 8am -6pm with occasional evening and weekend work for events.

Candidates must be local to Bolton.

The Role

  • Manage the day to day marketing activities and long term marketing strategy for the company
  • Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns
  • Utilising a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC
  • Managing online brand and overseeing social media strategy for the company
  • Managing product campaigns to raise brand awareness
  • Manage a team of 4 marketing professionals
  • Work alongside 7 heads of business and Sales MD
  • Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders
  • Build networks with all internal marketing resources
  • Responsible for managing the marketing budget
  • Analyse ROI and ROO
  • Establish integrated marketing strategies to meet company objectives
  • Build key lead generation initiatives
  • Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company website
  • Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website.

About You

  • Marketing degree
  • Experienced Marketing Manager/Senior Marketing Executive
  • Commercial awareness and digital marketing experience
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts
  • Experience with Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, Adwords, and similar tools
  • Experience managing PPC, SEO and Affiliate programmes
  • Experience in ecommerce, SEO, PPC, Email marketing, and social media.
  • Experience in the automotive industry (desirable)
