Export Area Sales Executive

Nene Recruitment are delighted to be working on behalf of a UK manufacturing and distribution company based in the Cambridgeshire area.

Currently supplying the market from distribution centres in the UK, Europe and overseas, due to continued growth our client requires an additional Area Export Sales Executive to further expand the sales of all products within Europe.

Key Requirements

  • Ideally an engineering background.
  • 1-2 years B2B sales experience would be an advantage.
  • Must be able to negotiate / present to all levels from site installation staff through to consulting engineers.
  • Have the ability to demonstrate a professional, persistent and persuasive approach.
  • Exceptional time management skills are required along with proven resilience to handle extended periods of solo travelling.
  • The flair to maximise growth at current customers and also seek out new business opportunities is highly important.
  • Develop sales strategy that reflects local market factors and competitor activity.

Full product and industry training will be provided. As this is an export position, European languages are required plus English, ideal language would be German plus one other European language.

This position will involve a minimum of 50% time spent travelling outside of the UK.

The successful candidate should be based in the Cambridgeshire area
