Overview of responsibilities
As a Marketing Assistant the successful candidate would be responsible for:
  • Supporting the wider functions of the Marketing team in day to day duties
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and external agencies to co-ordinate and schedule work
  • Assist in the creation, proofing and distribution of direct mail and POS collateral
  • Manage the creation and distribution of ad hoc direct mail requests
  • Support the company's social media activity
  • Support the team with product testing

Ideally the candidate will be able to demonstrate an educational and/or work experience within a marketing environment, however genuine passion, enthusiasm and interest in marketing and its surrounding incumbents would always be the priority.
A keen eye for detail and a detail orientated approach to work is essential to the role along with the ability to manage, prioritise and co-ordinate a varied and busy workload. A passionate, friendly, professional and collaborative approach are demanded as the role touches across a number of different relationships both internal and external to the business, including clients, agencies and accounts managers, this also means strong written and verbal communication skills are vital.

Candidate Requirements
You should be able to demonstrate an interest in Marketing and exposure to Marketing activity through either an academic qualification or experience in an existing role.
