A superb new role has arisen within an established Lending operation. Ideally you will be experienced in one or more of the following:

Credit Risk, Market Risk, Funding Risk.

Experience in stress testing acquired in a prior business or analytical position

Knowledge/experience in risk related regulations in a prior business or analytical position and experience in managing senior stakeholders and conflicting priorities.

The role:

The role would be responsible for: Delivery of effective Risk Management Framework .

Creating/reviewing Risk policies, procedures and processes in line with regulatory requirements and business purposes. Leading Firm’s annual Risk Appetite Framework on-going development and monitoring, reporting to the Executive Committee, Risk Committee and Board.

This includes monthly monitoring, first point of contact for business breach escalation, ensuring Board of Directors are informed and approval is gained where required . Working with various teams to establish/manage credit risk stress testing approaches for business management as well meeting regulatory requirements.

Promoting effective and proactive best practise in risk management at all levels of the organisation. Support ICAAP with respect to credit risk capital requirement submission.

Support in the review of ILAPP. Pro-actively and constructively challenge business risk reporting, assessments and activities where appropriate. Prepare and deliver regular committee risk reports and presentations

Essential Skills:

Business and data analytical skills. Pragmatic problem solving capability. Knowledge of risk measurement approaches and practices. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

This is a Certified role under the Senior Managers Regime and to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance, the incumbent is subject to the following;

Annual completion and self-certification in relation to Regulatory Conduct Rules training. An annual assessment of fitness and propriety based on 3 key areas: Honesty, Integrity and Reputation; Competence and Capability; Financial Soundness.
