This is a broad Communications Manager role aimed at generating exposure for the organisation.
Based in London, my client operate within the Not for Profit and Charities space, yet have a very commercial feel to them. My client operate as a membership body and boast a healthy sized membership group. This membership group consists of small, medium and large international organisations.
The organisation are incredibly dynamic and offer numerous services. These can include qualifications, learning products, industry knowledge, thought-leadership, general advice within its field of expertise, and a representative voice within parliament.
The successful Communications Manager will ideally be a full mix multi-channel communications expert and can demonstrate experience of this.
- Generating exposure across channels such as Social Media, Press Releases, feature articles, thought leadership pieces etc.
- Securing and running meetings with Press contacts and members to enhance the exposure and image of the organisation
- General internal communications to ensure staff engagement
This role is very much a senior position managing your own portfolio of campaigns and channels that you feel would be most effective at said time.
The ideal Communications Manager will be:
A self-starter and able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
Have at least three years' experience working in a similar position
Confident creating copy for magazines, newsletters, websites, social media and other promotional media
Someone that enjoys getting out of the office and engaging with members/clients face-to-face
Someone commercial, and a candidate that enjoys thinking on their feet
A pro-active mind-set
Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite and web content management
A salary is on offer of up to £36,000 per annum + package.
