Working for a corporate blue chip IT focused organisation you will be part of a busy Outbound Sales team where you will be identifying and converting telephone sales opportunities for all products to prospective businesses and also dealing with come accounts face to face where required.

This role is a consultative role and working with business customers so a professional telephone manner is key as well as the ability to communicate with people at all levels.

Although this role is outbound sales the position is very much fact finding initially in order to complete the sales of products and also building relationships with points of contact whilst building information.

This role is working Monday to Friday and pays a competitive salary of between £22'000 - £25'000 with additional bonus and commission and an OTE £40k uncapped. Training will be provided.

Job purpose:
To be the customers sales champion within the business and Increase account penetration by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business opportunities within defined customers.

This role is accountable and responsible for:

*Managing multiple customers of a variety of sizes
*Understanding the customers business and identifying opportunities to address their business needs.
*Setting account development strategies
*Developing and maintaining a suitable pipeline of opportunities
*Achieving the monthly targets for order intake and billed margin
*Developing and growing the recurring revenue base of prospects
*Contribute to the development and understanding of the portfolio
*Assist in the education of peers in "solution selling"
*Professionally represent the organisation to the market
*Achieve your individual targets
*Secure long term revenue and customer relationships
*Achieve highest levels of customer satisfaction
*Work with marketing and other sales team members as appropriate
*Prospect & pipeline management, including accurate forecasting
*Profitable retention of existing customers

Key skills and competencies needed to do the job:

*Sales experience within the IT or similar sector and strong communication skills
*Structured approach to sales
*Ability to 'solution' sell
*Ability to understand business requirements
*Ability to find opportunities in an account
*Ability to contribute to the team ethos
*Ability to work collaboratively across the business
*Ability to decline inappropriate business opportunities
