Sous Chef £22,000 – £24,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to join a bespoke wedding and events company based in Maidstone. As an events Sous Chef you will travel between two venues and assist the Head Chef in producing fresh high quality food for various functions.

You will be joining a great team at a very exciting time, with a busy programme of upcoming events.

You will work 40 hours a week, working 5 out of 7 days, with majority of the work in the evening due to the nature of the business so flexibility will be necessary

Ideal candidate will:

- Experience of cooking for functions, banquets or weddings
- Responsible for maintaining health and safety practices and good hygiene in line with company food safety standards within the kitchens
- Be a team player with good leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Be creative and able to deliver good customer satisfaction, ensuring consistency of all food to a consistently high standard
- Willing to travel to the West Kent area
