This is an opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in the financial services industry and would like to develop a fulfilling career in holistic financial advice and implementation. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn and develop key skills required to become a successful and effective financial planner with the option, support and training to become a fully-qualified Financial Adviser in the future.
Their key role will be in supporting the financial Adviser in all aspects of research, report-writing, implementation, presentation, and client communication, all within a professional and regulated framework.
The successful applicant will have experience in financial services or a related arena, ideally in administration or a supportive role, and would like to develop their skills into a client-facing and advisory role in the future. They will be articulate, professional and well-presented, offering administrative support and research to the financial adviser.
They may have already undertaken financial qualifications but not yet attained a full financial certificate, or has had relevant experience in a similar role.
They would ideally have a working knowledge of the financial services industry, including but not limited to, mortgages, protection, pensions and investments, as well as related processes such as suitability reports, mortgage and protection research, updating client records and fact finds, the Data Protection Act and relevant regulation and legislation.
They will also be articulate on the phone, making calls to clients to arrange appointments and take new enquiries.
Must have their own vehicle and be able to travel during working hours to visit clients and attend training and networking events when required.
