ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT– PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
This is a great role working within a busy Commercial Asset Finance Team with responsibility for producing timely service charge and utility reconciliations for tenants across the Commercial Estate.
This friendly team works closely with Asset Managers, Commercial Estate Managers, Service Charge Payables and other teams in Finance. The successful candidate will therefore need to have excellent communication skills, be experienced working with Excel and have a superb attention to detail.
Prepare service charge reconciliations and budgets in accordance with service charge timetables and in line with RICS guidelines for commercial tenants.
Prepare utility reconciliations and budgets in accordance with timetables for commercial tenants.
Build relationships with the Commercial Estate, Asset, other Finance teams and tenants to ensure timely production and payment of reconciliations and budgets.
Assist on RMG contract for RMG corporate account, commercial tenants and residential tenants.
Responsible for the monthly reporting and recharging of insurance across the Commercial Estate.
Calculating and approving RPI/CPI reviews for service charge and rent.
Responsible for recharging reactives works/costs to commercial tenants.
Preparation of head lease service charge journals.
Assist in head lease and sublease service charge reporting.

The salary for this role is £21,000 with the working hours of 9.00 to 17.30 Monday to Friday.
