The Company:

Position Overview:

  • To procure and maintain stock for production and service departments.

Job Functions:

  • Procure parts to manufacture new products and support those in the field
  • Maintain stock of parts and stores areas
  • Maintain production schedule
  • Ensure we are buying at the best price/quality for our business with regular reviews
  • Generate product costings and maintain
  • Liaise with Projects and Sales Teams to plan ahead
  • Liaise with suppliers at all levels
  • Visit suppliers when required
  • Request quotations
  • Attend and play an active role in meetings when required
  • Liaise with all other departments


  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience
  • Good communicator and team player
  • Work well with colleagues at all levels
  • Must be able to deal with customers and suppliers at all levels
  • Be capable of working without supervision
  • Excellent presentation skills to represent the Company at supplier meetings
  • Trustworthy and honest
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook
  • Good working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts an advantage
  • Be a creative individual, with the ability to come up with new ideas and processes to help the business grow.
