Regional Account Manager

Location: Newcastle to Scotland

Salary: £25,000 + Uncapped Commission and Car Allowance (realistic OTE of £40-£60k)

Are you looking to work for a Global Media branding organisation that provides effective, bespoke commercial marketing campaigns for a range of major clients, and offers, numerous company benefits and excellent uncapped commission?

We currently have an amazing opportunity for a global media services organisation currently looking to add an experienced and talented field based Account Manager to help maintain client spend to cover the region from Newcastle to Scotland.

Responsibilities:

  • Attending meetings with clients to build and maintain relationships with a high focus on client retention
  • Covering clients throughout the North of England, Scotland and some in Ireland
  • Providing world-class customer service to maximise any opportunities to retain existing business
  • Dealing with any queries from clients and correctly identifying any issues through effective questioning and offering of solutions
  • Maintaining an excellent level of knowledge of all the products and services in order to offer the customer a solution that’s tailored to their needs
  • Implementing business strategy and service values to meet client retention targets
  • Ensuring all documentation is completed to the required standard and given to the office team
  • Demonstrating the appropriate behaviours when dealing with all clients, colleagues and contacts
  • Supporting the team by attending meetings and contributing towards business initiatives
  • Feeding back on all activity as agreed with line manager

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a B2B account manager role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to thrive in an environment targeted towards customer retention and satisfaction
  • The ability to negotiate, coupled with excellent written and oral communication
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work under pressure with a constant positive outlook when faced with difficult situations
  • Good IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office
