Volunteer Co-ordinator - Wildlife Charity
Our client's HR Team are looking for a Volunteer Co-ordinator to support the wider team in ensuring volunteers are supported, feel valued and are an integral part of the organisation's culture.
Salary: £20,672 per annum
Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week
Based: Littlemore, Oxford
The organisation's work is made possible by both a dedicated staff team and a large group of volunteers. They recognise their volunteers contribute their time, skills and talents to the effective running of the Trust and as such, are committed to giving them the practical support they need to realise their full potential whilst reaping the reward of restoring nature.
This post will undertake all the administration associated with that, and maintain and help develop the volunteering area of the Trusts new database.
The role will suit someone who is approachable, has a proven track record in administration and previous experience of working as or with volunteers. A high level of computer literacy is a must, with advanced skills in Excel and Databases being an advantage.
The Trust is a membership-based voluntary organisation, managing 90 nature reserves, influencing land management and educating and encouraging all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.
