Business Development Manager - Insight & Analytics

The Role

  • Find and develop an external client network for the broad range of skills independently from their core survey business
  • Design innovative, winning proposals in response to often unclear or verbal briefs
  • Lead pitches on complex, challenging briefs
  • Have ultimate accountability on all aspects of the set-up, design and execution of projects
  • Determining which of the companies capabilities are most marketable and prioritising opportunities
  • Creating Marketing materials - including a dedicated website area, white papers, case studies
  • Increasing comapny presence - both digitally and physically, including speaking at conferences
  • Co-ordinating our client communication with other teams internally

Business Development Manager - Insight & Analytics

The Person

  • Previous experience selling a consultative, data driven solution. (Data, BI, Subscriptions and SaaS sales highly considered).
  • Experience working alongside analysts is desirable
  • Strong track record in sales and client management
  • Familiarity with the aims and limitations of statistical modelling and data management tools and techniques
  • Project management
  • Some hands-on experience of modelling and working with different types of software would be useful but not essential
