Product Manager / Product Owner Agile, SaaS
This is an exciting new role for an experienced Product Manager / Product Owner to join a new start up division of an established global leader in major sports events and sports planning consultancy. The new division provide an innovative and market leading on-line information and membership platform with the largest data set on participation, operational and financial performance of the UK sports and leisure sector. They are in a unique position to provide data insights to their ever expanding client base of funding and governing bodies, local authorities and national partnerships using their innovative cloud based data analytics platform which is increasingly in high demand.
We are seeking a dynamic and self sufficient Product Manager who will be vital to their success and drive future growth. The main purpose of the role is to manage a set of data products and Membership Management Platforms through the product lifecycle from concept to retirement.
In your role you will develop product roadmaps and strategies, and work closely with
development, marketing, sales and operations teams to turn these into a reality. You will
establish collaborative relationships with external and internal stakeholders, gather accurate
requirements and evaluate product performance to ensure that we continue to provide
solutions that meet our client's current and future needs.
The role offers great scope and potential to become a Product Director with the opportunity to build and lead a team of a company that is achieving 50% year on year growth with ambitious international plans.
Product strategy. Addressing customer needs and usability, planning and implementing processes and requirements to meet the product vision.
Managing and prioritising products through their commercial life cycle.
Management and leadership of the operations and development team and their performance management.
Project Management across various products.
Experience in Product Management, ideally in an Agile development environment
and SaaS products
Scrum Product Owner Certification or equivalent experience advantageous
Experience in client facing roles, ideally in B2B software/services
Experience in managing partnerships, reseller agreements and contract negotiation
Strong commercial acumen
Strong analytical ability and data driven decision maker with a strategic mindset
Proven ability to manage a large stakeholder network comprised of diverse roles and
Can articulate and explain complicated issues in a simple and accurate manner
Well organised; able to manage own workload; prioritise and work autonomously or
as part of a team as necessary.
Articulate and professional with strong presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to build credibility and relationships at all levels.
