About us
We are the UK’s nursing and midwifery regulator. We exist to safeguard the health and wellbeing of the public by setting standards for education, maintaining a register of nurses and midwives and investigating individuals whose fitness to practise is called into question.

About the role
As a Registrar and Appeals Support Officer you will be responsible for managing a caseload of registration applications. You will be responsible for enabling the Registrar to make informed judgements and decision on applications to the NMC register. You will also assist in processing Registrar’s appeals, ensuring that cases are acknowledged and managed to the point of conclusion.

About you
Strong presentation and communication skills are essential. Experience of communicating with diverse groups, the ability to prioritise and a belief in continual improvement and team working are necessary. You will have a good knowledge of the UK regulatory environment. You will be educated to 'A’ level standard or equivalent, or have substantial relevant experience and will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
