Account Manager, North Dorset, Up to £35,000

A leading supplier within the engineering industry based in North Dorset, requires a Account Manager to join their team.

Providing a variety of bespoke products and solutions to multiple market sectors, this innovative company requires you as the Account Manager to use your technical sales experience and engineering knowledge to manage customer accounts, provide technical reviews and quotations to ensure continued business growth and strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities include;

- Manage commercial enquiries, ensuring all incoming orders are processed

- Provide quotations ensuring profits are maximised

- Provide regular sales forecasts

- Provide sound advice and technical information to customers using technical drawings and supporting documents, matching customer requirements to proposed solutions

- Identifying new business opportunities

- Conduct commercial reviews

- Communicate with all departments including the Engineers, Buyers and Designers

As the ideal Account Manager you will have;

- Proven success and experience within a technical sales role within the engineering industry

- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification

- Excellent commercial awareness

- Excellent technical knowledge

- Strong negotiating and rapport building skills
