Due to a rapid increase in demand, and exciting movements in our client’s pipeline, we’re looking for a someone to join their team as a Junior Account Manager/Account Executive, to start as soon as possible. The basic salary is between £18,000 and £20,000, depending on experience and degree suitability, and the successful candidate will have the potential to progress to full account manager within 12-18 months!

You will be joining a Digital Media owner, who develop and manage a network of specialist job boards. This position includes being responsible for assisting Account Managers with the maintaining and developing of existing client relationships, as well as supporting the identification of new business opportunities. Your daily tasks will have elements of researching, client relations, marketing, events planning, administrative work and reporting. This role requires someone with great eye for detail and excellent analytical skills. It is essential that you possess strong communication skills (written and verbal) as a key responsibility will be writing and advertising roles across multiple mediums, as well as tracking and monitoring campaign responses.

The role boasts rapid progression, as you will be eligible to be promoted to Account Manager between 12 and 18 months with the business, meaning more responsibility and, ultimately, an increase in pay. As the company is expanding rapidly, they are at an exciting point in their business operations, and this is a great opportunity to be a part of something new and growing. The office environment is easy going and fun, where a sense of humour is valued, making it a great place to start a career (and they have an office dog too!). The start date is ASAP/immediately, and working hours are 8.30am - 5.30pm, meaning no late nights and no weekends!

What we are looking for:

  • Degree educated (2:1 and above is preferred, no specific subject requirement)
  • No need for prior experience, but experience in a similar role will be favourable
  • Analytical and articulate
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Great eye for detail
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • MS Office skills including PowerPoint, Word, Excel
