Business Development Executive - Professional services

The Sales Operations team operate as a centre of excellence for all elements of the sales processes providing guidance, process design and implementation which support business activities to underpin the NM Sales organisation and thereby supporting the strategic goals and ambitions of the business.
This role forms a key part in the strategic plan to further increase market share and accelerate growth in chosen markets.
The main responsibility to this role is to generate new business meetings through telephone lead generation and networking. You will be responsible for speaking directly to business owners and executives to effectively position the firm and generate new business activity. The key target market will include Private and Family Owned businesses including Private Equity backed businesses.
You will report directly into the head of the team but will be required to work autonomously.
An ideal candidate should have the following:
- Demonstrable B2B sales experience (this would also include recruitment experience)
- be self-motivated and able to work without supervision
- confidence and a track record in new business generation
- entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to hunt for new business
Main Responsibilities will include
- Generating new business meetings across the UK.
- Contacting prospective businesses and targets by phone to generate new meetings for BDM's and project sponsors.
- Creating a pipeline of opportunities across the UK.
- Identify and spot potential opportunities to start new business conversations with prospective clients.
