Redex Recruitment are currently representing an international wholesale/manufacturing business based in Braintree, Essex. Due to a recent restructure of the HR/Payroll department they now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Assistant to join the team.
You will be working amongst a team of 3 processing weekly and monthly payroll using Sage 50 payroll system.
- Ensure that all tax requirements are met, including but not limited to RTI submissions, tax & NI payments and issuing P60s
- Experience processing starters and leavers using SSP, SAP, SMP, P60's etc
- Collate weekly/monthly time-sheets
- Ensure that all activities within the role are in compliance with internal Policies and Procedures, HMRC and current legislation
- Meet payroll deadlines
- Processing P11Ds, P60s, P35s
- Auto enrolment and RTI knowledge
- Other ad-hoc tasks when required
The ideal candidate will have strong payroll knowledge and be confident in processing payroll from start to finish. Previous experience using Sage 50 Payroll will be beneficial but not essential.
