Nursing Home Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
York
£40,000 per annum
Full time days

---BACKGROUND---
TIME Recruitment is currently working with a large health & social care provider in selecting a registered nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) to join the management team at a care home in York. Working closely with the Home Manager, this Deputy Manager position offers a fantastic opportunity for any ambitious nurse looking to progress. Our client has a large number of services across Yorkshire and the North East and can offer realistic progression pathways for those looking to move on into home or even area management.

This large home provides care for up to 95 residents at a time, and as such we are looking for an experienced, proven senior nurse or someone with prior deputy management or home management experience.

---THE ROLE---
As a Deputy Manager, you will play a leading role in the provision of top-class care and support to residents. Putting your training to good use, you will be expected to utilise a range of clinical skills, demonstrating a natural flair for leadership. Previous experience of leading a team within a care setting is essential.

Liaising closely with the Service Manager, you will be given an opportunity to lead teams of care staff on a daily basis. You will need a good working knowledge of CQC regulations and expectations, along with other relevant legislation.

---PROGRESSION POTENTIAL---
Our client offers an excellent induction programme, supported by on-going training and professional development. For nurses looking to progress, our client is large enough to offer ample progression opportunities, along with specialist training in areas like dementia and palliative care. You will also be encouraged to progress through formal management qualifications should you wish to develop further.

---PAY & BENEFITS---
This role is offering a competitive salary of £40,000 to the successful candidate. This is supplemented by the following additional benefits:

- generous matched pension contributions
- cash welcome bonus
- NMC/DBS costs paid
- free uniform
- access to high quality, extensive induction and continuing training
