International Conference Producer - Oil & Gas

Up to £36,000 + Profit Share & Benefits (20k+)

The Client…

Operates globally in 18 countries across Europe, Russia and the CIS, the Middle East, and Africa, with offices in London, Singapore and the UAE, due to continued expansion a role has arisen for a Senior Conference Producer either at graduate level or with 3 year’s max CP experience.

The Role… centres on the production and project management, (agenda content research and speaker acquisition) of both established annual events and new launches within the Oil & Gas sector.

Duties ….

  • The project management of an event from initial General Manager briefing through to onsite delivery and post event wrap up.
  • To work closely with marketing, sponsorship and delegates sales to coordinate a strategy to maximise event success.
  • To achieve productivity targets and KPIs to ensure that event programmes are produced/signed off to deadline and are briefed to marketing and sales teams to deadline.

Key Responsibilities…

  • The production of conferences programmes via predominantly telephone research, but also live advisory boards and face to face meetings.
  • Researching with both buy and sell side target audiences to attract speakers, delegates and sponsorship.
  • Build relationships and contacts with key industry experts and thought leaders to create new opportunities from untapped companies, countries and markets.
  • Be able to develop and deliver accurate production and project updates within weekly project meetings.

At events:

  • Face-to-face onsite management and responsibility for the speakers, running order and schedule of the conference.
  • Build relationships with conference speakers, sponsors and delegates.
  • Conduct onsite research for the development of post event and portfolio wide content and themes
