Client Details

My client are a leading technology business with a global brand. They are continuing to grow and currently looking for Desk Based Account Managers in their Manchester office. As an Account Manager you will manage a portfolio of accounts with the aim to increasing the annual revenue by up selling additional products.


As an Account Manager you will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensure all Targets are achieved on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Ensure KPI's are achieved (minimum activity levels etc)
  • Manage pipeline effectively and proactively
  • Accurately & consistently forecast and commit opportunity pipeline to the management team
  • Input and manage new sales opportunities onto CRM system
  • Forge strong relationships within account base via regular customer communication
  • Internal project management/order tracking of allocated account base orders through the business to ensure efficient revenue delivery.
  • Address any issues with the appropriate internal team
  • Promote NPS to account base and actively seek feedback from customers with a view to improving NPS Score
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure the customer is at the heart of everything we do
  • Take ownership and accountability of everything within your control
  • Act as a point of escalation and contact for your accounts in the event of non sales related issues e.g. faults, billing etc

  • Must be self motivated
  • Proven ability to work under pressure to achieve stretching targets
  • The ideal candidate will have previous B2B Account Management experience
  • Able to work within a team based environment, using your own initiative where appropriate
  • Good telephone manner and presentable, professional demeanour
  • Computer literacy encompassing all Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience of CRM systems, with the ability to analyse and interpret data
