Temporary Management Accountant contract role in Glenrothes, available for immediate start!

Hays Senior Finance is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant, to take on an initially temporary post, to support the UK Financial Controller of a business, based in Glenrothes, Fife. Working within a fast-paced, international business, you will play a key supporting role during a busy reporting period for this team.
Your new role
You will take on a position which will see you acting as the interface between finance and operations in a business partnering capacity. You will be involved in the production of management accounts and MI reports for review. You will support the month-end process and liaise closely with the internal accounts team to calculate adjustments. You will work closely with business stakeholders to improve financial information by reviewing and challenging processes. Your role will also involve preparing ad-hoc reports for external bodies to include Accountants, Lawyers and Auditors for several legal entities for an ongoing project. You will be involved in the budgeting, forecasting and planning processes for these business units.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of month-end and management accounting and will be a confident and inquisitive individual. You will be an individual who can work on your own initiative and will be comfortable liaising with a range of business stakeholders. You may be a Qualified, Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountant but will have solid experience of management accounting.
