If you have the drive and passion for sales, are self-motivated and target driven we have the role for you. An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Executive within the SOLICITORS group. You will be working for one of the UK’s most successful event businesses based in Derby.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Already possess proven experience within a business to business sales role

  • Has proven skills in negotiating and closing deals

  • Is experienced in selling a range of products, tailoring them to the client’s needs

  • Possess working knowledge of MS Word and Excel

  • Has excellent communication skills both face-to-face and on the phone

  • Is able to work under pressure and to deadlines

  • Is willing to travel to client meetings and events.

    The main focus of this role will be to sell exhibition space and conference sponsorships across a number of leading industry exhibitions throughout the UK and Ireland.

    As a Sales Executive you will be:

  • Managing a range of dedicated accounts, ensuring that they are serviced regularly and we gain/retain as much budget as possible

  • Keeping up to date records of all the accounts under your responsibility

  • Ensuring all booking forms are returned signed

  • Chasing payments for booked products

  • Generating new business through researching the market

  • Achieving both individual and team targets set throughout the year

  • Making a high volume of calls in order to achieve all of the above

    Our package for you:

    The basic salary for this role is up to £20,000 dependent upon experience, and once trained on-target earnings will take the overall salary range to £30,000 - £40,000. We also offer free onsite parking and sales incentives.

    Our working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with some weekend work required throughout the year.
