A successful car dealership based in Bury are currently recruiting for a Dealership Accountant on a permanent basis.
This role will suit someone with significant experience within the retail automotive industry. You will have excellent IT skills, with a good knowledge of Excel and Click Dealer Management System would be an advantage. SAP skills would be a great advantage.
Experience of working in a robust, well controlled financial environment with multiple outlets. The ability to prioritise workloads in an efficient and effective manner, delivering results in a timely fashion, with the ability to work on own initiative. High Level of accuracy and attention to detail, strong team leadership and supervisory skills together with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicated effectively with both financial and non- financial staff.
Your responsibilities will include;
Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts and balance sheet for the individual businesses in the area of responsibility, including franchise consolidation packs. Prepare management reports on a periodic and ad hoc basis as requested. Liaise with the Financial Controller and MD to ensure they are fully aware on all financial issues. Attend monthly operational finance reviews, covering each outlet with the groups senior management team. The objectives of these meetings are to highlight areas for improvement, share best practice and drive the financial and operation performance of the business forward.
