This South West London Primary is based in a convenient location with local amenities and public transport links nearby. The Primary EYFS Teacher will be joining a school with a great internal support network where teachers have a ‘help one, help all’ mentality. The school is under the strong leadership of a headteacher with a strong ethos focused around inclusion and equality and this is reflected throughout the school’s staff and pupil’s attitudes and approach to education. The Primary EYFS Teacher will be working closely with the rest of the EYFS team who are welcoming and excited about getting a new member of staff.

The ideal Primary EYFS Teacher will have good references from their previous employers or placements (For NQT’s) and be able to express their motivations for working at this school. The Primary EYFS Teacher will benefit from being creative and using new approaches to education as the school takes a modern approach and believes that less ‘traditional’ teaching can be just as rewarding for the pupils. The successful Primary EYFS teacher will be able to demonstrate their ability to devise and deliver a set of creative, cohesive and clear lesson plans to a differentiated group of students.

The class that you will be teaching as a Primary EYFS Teacher is comprised of an average amount of EAL, SEN and ‘Gifted and Talented’ students and is typically a well-behaved class. The role will be centered around improving the cognitive development of the pupils whilst supporting them academically, mentally and socially to achieve the best that they can. The Primary EYFS Teacher role will require you to understand the national curriculum but you will be free to interpret your own personal approach when teaching it.
