Regional Sales Manager
Our client is looking for 2 Regional Sales Managers, 1 to cover Northern Europe and the other for Central Europe. The roles will manage teams of Account Managers based in Milton Keynes.
These are two newly created roles with the aim of shifting to a more business development oriented company. As well as carrying a personal sales target the Regional Sales Manager will manage a small team of Account Managers who will also be focused on business development. The role will involve developing relationships with installers and end-users of fibre optic components and pulling orders through the existing distributor network. Whilst experience of selling IT infrastructure products would be preferred we will be focusing on leadership and experience of growing business. This said we will still be looking for a technical background.
Successful candidates will possess:
- Significant examples of business growth to distribution, end users and System Integrators / Installers.
- A track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets above £1M per annum.
- Strong leadership skills and a track record of developing sales teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills at all levels and personal characteristics including, a high degree of drive and ambition, an ability to take initiative.
You will carry a sales target for your region that you will deliver through personal sales and the effective management and support of your Account Management team. In turn you will receive support from the Sales Director and Marketing Director and personal development from the company. The business has experienced growth in recent years and has increased production capacity but there is always room for improvement. They are part of a large global group and can offer career development for the right people.
