Assembly Project Engineer

Location- Widnes

Salary- £20,000 -£25,000

A company based in the North West (Widnes) is looking to recruit an assembly project engineer. The company offers a great route for progression. As an assembly project engineer, you will need a practical engineering a background, you will have an Electronics Engineering degree or HNC or proven experience in electronics/ experience within a similar role.

Your responsibilities will include introducing customer manufacturing data for prototypes, and establishing products into manufacturing operations. Good computers are essential to be successful within this role in particular, excel and CAD.

Assembly Project Engineer duties will include:

*Liaise with customers at an engineering level to finalise the Bill Of Materials (BOM) and supporting manufacturing data.

*Oversee assembly of "first of products"

*Liaise with customers to resolve specific technical problems.

*Manipulate and import ECAD data into BOMs and output parts list into specific assembly and manufacturing formats.

*Define build structure for multi-board and system level products.

*Produce build documentation with assistance from design / product engineering teams.

*Provide customer post-delivery technical assistance and support.

*Resolve internal manufacturing technical queries.
