Have you ever heard of an Alternative Provision where the students have outstanding behaviour? We have, and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced English Teacher to join a school which has been graded as outstanding in all categories.

Our clients are looking for an experienced English Teacher to work with key stage 3 & 4 students who have social, emotional and mental health needs.

This is a permanent position to start in September 2017.

Our clients are an Alternative Provision School providing for students aged 11-16, who have social, emotional and mental health needs, and who have been permanently excluded or are at risk of exclusion from their mainstream schools. All the students have special educational needs as a result of their difficulties.

This is a great opportunity to:

- Gain experience working in a specialist Alternative Provision
- Gain experience working with small groups of students
- Work in an "Outstanding" special school

Having met with the School Business Manager, they are extremely proud of the provision they offer and of their outstanding status and they are looking for teachers with the ambition to keep them moving forwards.

The following are quotes from their last Ofsted report in July 2015:

"The behaviour of students is outstanding. Almost all the students arrive at the school having had a negative experience of education but staff are highly skilled in re-engaging them and communicating to them the fact that they can succeed."

"Students achievement is outstanding. A high proportion make better than expected progress during their time at the school."

"Students behaviour and the transformation in their attitudes to learning are outstanding. They speak in glowing terms about how the school has turned their lives around."

Please send your CV to Greg Burns. Greg is our dedicated SEN Consultant and will be happy to guide you through each step of the process from your application, right up to starting with the School.
