Finance Manager / Business Partner (FP&A)

We are seeking an experienced finance professional with experience in private equity to join a leading digital communications agency based in Shoreditch.

Our client is a high growth, private equity backed agency / technology company, specialising in digital corporate communications. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this new and high profile role will require working across multiple departments at a time of continued growth and change.

The Finance Manager / Business Partner (FP&A) responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Management of UK Region;
  • Undertaking month end business partnering with UK Region and some Group level functions;
  • Senior management decision support;
  • Assisting with the reporting of costs and revenues;
  • Working closely with shared service finance centre;
  • Reforecasting the region and cost centres on a regular basis;
  • Working within cross-departmental teams to provide a high level of service.

The Finance Manager / Business Partner (FP&A) will need to have the following skills, abilities and expertise:

  • People person and strong communicator;
  • FP&A or Business Partnering experience;
  • Qualified accountant or finalist;
  • Experienced in financial aspects of agency and saas business models such as; percentage complete revenue recognition, MRR, backlog, LTV, CAC, churn and cash flow;
  • Experience of working to a month end close schedule and closing numbers before calendar end of month;
  • Comfort in a complex multi entity, multi-currency group is a must;
  • Experience of working with non-GL data such as sales and backlog, headcount, client numbers;
  • First class written and oral communication skills with the ability to present with confidence;
  • Strong systems understanding with experience of improvement initiatives;
  • Project management skills;
  • Experience of working with browser based finance applications preferred e.g. CRM, Adaptive Insights, Qlik Sense, Concur;
  • A sense of humour would be advantageous.
